Claymore Wines: Where Ambience Meets Music and Wine

In the heart of Clare Valley, Claymore Wines offers an enchanting winery experience like no other. It’s not just about the wine; it’s a blend of wine, music, and an atmosphere with a unique charm. The winery’s ambience is something you won’t forget as you immerse yourself in a world where every wine tells a story.

Claymore Wines has a unique theme—many of their wines are named after classic songs, inspired by the greatest music of modern times. It’s an invitation to tune into the conversation, crack open a bottle, and enjoy the experience with friends.

The most ambient spot is basking in the sunshine on the deck, while you sip on a glass of wine and savour a grazing platter. They source their cheeses, cured meats, and produce locally. A theme I loved while visiting the Clare Valley.

Family friendly with kids activities but they are encouraged to play outside as it isn’t child friendly inside.

Dog friendly: again outside

Larger groups do require a booking if you have more than 10 people.

Accessibility: car parking, toilets and access.

Claymore Wines is not just a winery; it’s a place where wine, music, and the warmth of Clare Valley come together to create an ambiance that you won’t want to leave. But don’t take my word for it, experience it for yourself.

Note: being a winery it is busier on weekends as people meander through the Clare Valley on their wine tours. But we were here on a Saturday afternoon and it was lovely and quiet while we were here. Although inside the tables are well spaced, it is not acoustically treated inside. One large groups or lively child would ruin the ambience here, so best bet is to seat outside.

We only had wine but platters were on offer. The lovely Jonathon looked after us and went through the wines with us. We were very impressed and bought quite a bit. Their rose was delicious. We highly recommend this winery. Their labels are all song titles. Very quirky.
