I was very excited to find this oases of peace on the Parade at Norwood.

I discovered it whilst walking past last week, and I had to come back again. My second experience was just as good as the first.

Excellent service, great coffee, delicious cakes and croissants, cafe food, and Vietnamese food.

The cold rolls were delicious today.

Local producers’ stands surround the cafe. There are plants, art, homewares, body care, earrings, coffee cups, kids toys, and a dog section. The borders break up the noise quite well and you wouldn’t know you were in a coffee shop.

As I waited for my coffee, I enjoyed admiring the craftsmanship of local producers.

Although the restaurant was full, I felt like I was in a cone of silence because the tables are well spaced.

At one table a mature couple enjoyed their coffee while doing crossword puzzles, at another a business meeting, at another a diner like myself who was @diningforone. This place is also perfect if you are dining alone. I had lunch with a friend here last week, today stopped for lunch and coffee by myself on my way to work and the friendly staff created a pleasant experience for us on both occasions.

EAR BUD Q TIP

It is quiet in the dining area. The speakers are opposite the till so it is slightly louder there, but not too intrusive. If sound sensitive avoid the table closest to the coffee machine as it is always pumping out that liquid gold.

Whilst I was there many locals came in for bulk orders, uber orders, as well as the people who were dining in, so the coffee machine is on the go constantly.

You would not know you were sitting on a main road once inside. It is a hidden oasis on the Parade.
