
We are thrilled to announce that Jeremy Ryland, a highly respected and accomplished food professional, has joined the QLD team.
With over 40 years of experience in the Australian food industry, Jeremy brings a unique combination of scientific, operations, and marketing skills to the table. His impressive qualifications include a degree in Food Technology, an MBA in Marketing, and a Master of Arts in Gastronomy from Le Cordon Bleu, Academie D’Art Culinaire de Paris.
Throughout his career, Jeremy has worked in research, manufacturing, hospitality, and marketing. For the past 20 years, he has been focused on marketing and running hospitality operations. Jeremy’s passion for good food, good wine, and the role that food plays in our history, culture, social lives, and health is evident in everything he does. He writes on food and gastronomy for the press and has appeared on both radio and television, promoting food science, good food, and commensality.
In addition to his many accomplishments, Jeremy is also an Adjunct Professor in the School of Business & Tourism at the University of Queensland, a judge for the RAS, RNA, RASV and GDA, and a restaurant reviewer and critic. He is also a part-time lecturer at Le Cordon Bleu.
