Dean brings over 33 years of extensive experience in the hearing profession, serving as a clinician, Manager, and business owner. Throughout his career, he has established himself as a highly respected member of the community, guided by a strong professional and moral compass. Dean enjoys the impact his work has on improving people’s lives every single day. His commitment to excellence is unwavering, as he consistently strives to deliver “best practice” in hearing health, client care, and rehabilitation through his dedicated and personalized service.
He wants to be a part of the Ambient Menu Ear Buds team because he knows how much his patients struggle to hear in a lively eatery. He also loves food and wine, and wants everyone to be able to enjoy the experience that is eating together in a great restaurant.

One of Dean’s great passions lies in independent Audiology practice in Australia. He firmly believes in the freedom to choose the most suitable hearing solution for each client, unrestricted by brand or style. This allows him to prescribe the right hearing device from any manufacturer worldwide, ensuring his clients receive the best possible outcomes at a reasonable price. This belief inspired him to establish My Hearing, located at King Park, Victor Harbour, Goolwa, McLaren Vale, Strathalbyn, Glynde, and Kangaroo Island.
Since 1993, Dean has been a member of the Australian College of Audiology (ACAud). Recognizing the importance of continuous growth, he pursues professional development opportunities and regularly attends workshops, conferences, both nationally and internationally. This allows him to remain ahead of the game in the latest advancements, technology and rehabilitation techniques.
Dean is also the national representative for DEAFMETAL®, specializing in the design of stylish and secure accessories for hearing aids, cochlear implant coils, and headpieces. DEAFMETAL® offers a wide range of personalized pieces, allowing wearers to express their style AND ensuring the safety and security of their devices. This alleviates some of the anxiety associated with losing your devices while taking off your face mask, or engaging in physical endeavours.
